Home Buying is a Process
I have been working with a buyer client for over 6 months now. They have very specific real estate requirements, and of course they want it all for a low price. We've gotten close, but there is always something that causes them to rule out the property. And they continually want to see property that doesn't fit their criteria. I feel that working with buyers is often more about educating them than actually purchasing real estate. The first time or two that we venture out gets them over sticker shock. They begin to understand what you can get for your money and their wish lish gradually gets more in line with what they can truly afford. Sometimes this takes days, sometimes weeks or months. It's up to the agent to determine how much time they can afford to spend with buyers when this process drags on and if they feel it will ultimately result in a sale. It's also a talent to guide homebuyers through this process and speed it along when necessary.

Interesting Things
As real estate agents, we see all sorts of interesting things and have all sorts of interesting experiences. What types of things have you seen lately?
Real Estate Pet Peeves
A picture is worth a thousand words, right? Well, in the world of real estate, those thousand words make an important statement about the properties we're trying to market. Some property photos do not do the property justice. Sometimes, it's the property itself. Take this example photo. What's wrong with this picture?
If you have any pictures you would like to submit as an example of bad property photos. Email them to photos@1stchoicerealestateschool.com.
